William Hauge seems to have been criticised for speaking out about his wife’s miscarriages. My heart goes out to him and his wife and I hope that they succeed soon in their journey to start a family.
William Hague last night opened his heart about his wife’s mis carriages as he fought off rumours of a gay affair with his young aide.
The foreign secretary made a det ailed and emotional statement after the resignation of his special adviser Christopher Myers, 25.
He acknowledged that they had shared a hotel room but denied they had had an improper relationship.
Rejecting claims that his 13-year marriage to wife Ffion was in trouble, Mr Hague revealed they had been trying for a baby but she had suffered ‘multiple miscarriages’.
The former Tory party leader added: ‘It has been an immensely traumatic and painful experience but our marriage is strong and we will face whatever the future brings together.’
